From £18,500 a year pro rata, full time & part time roles available Click here to apply for this role via Indeed Job Description: Dealing with queries regarding services offered by the practice Making telephone calls as requested Arranging appointments for medicals & other non-routine appointments Taking messages, recording them accurately in the patient record Greeting & direction patients, checking their appointments Handing out letters, completed forms & specimen bottles Accepting requests for completion of forms, e.g. private health insurance claim forms (checking if a fee is payable and take payment if appropriate) Accepting requests for medical examinations (taxi/adoption, etc), add to waiting list with correct contact details Collecting fees for chargeable items Generating computerised repeat prescriptions Accepting deliveries & logging appropriately Dealing with problems and queries from doctors, other staff members Using the computer to enter patient information Opening & securing the building Ensuring patient signatures [...]
